Trusted-People.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates as a digital platform connecting Clients (Employers) with Workers. This policy provides a clear breakdown of platform fees, explains when payments are released, and outlines how funds are managed.

1. Platform Fees Overview

Trusted-People.com charges the following fees:

1.1 Fees for Clients (Employers)

  • Booking Fee: A non-refundable £6.99 fee per job.
  • No commission on worker payments: Employers pay Workers directly.
  • Additional Service Fees: May apply for optional services (e.g., background checks, job promotion).

1.2 Fees for Workers

  • Workers receive 100% of their agreed payment directly from the Employer—Trusted-People.com does not process worker payments or deduct commissions.
  • Optional Service Fees: Workers may opt for premium features (e.g., profile boosts or verification badges).

2. How Payments Are Managed

Trusted-People.com facilitates connections between Clients and Workers but does not process worker payments. Employers must:

  • Pay Workers directly at the end of the job.
  • Ensure payments comply with agreed rates set during booking.
  • Handle any disputes over payments directly with the Worker.

Workers should confirm payment details with Employers before beginning an Assignment.

3. When Payments Are Released

Since Trusted-People.com does not process worker payments, Employers are responsible for paying Workers immediately upon job completion unless otherwise agreed.

If a Worker does not receive payment, they must raise the issue with the Employer directly. Trusted-People.com does not intervene in payment disputes between Clients and Workers.

4. Refunds for Clients

Refunds are handled according to the Cancellation & Refund Policy:

  • Full refund of the Booking Fee if the Worker does not show up.
  • No refund of the Booking Fee if the job is cancelled by the Client after the Worker has accepted.
  • Refunds for disputes are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Dispute Handling & Payment Issues

Since Employers pay Workers directly, Trusted-People.com does not process or hold payments, and all payment-related disputes must be handled between the Client and the Worker.

However, Trusted-People.com may review reports of non-payment or fraudulent activity and take action against repeat offenders, including restricting platform access.

6. Payment Security & Compliance

  • Employers should keep proof of payment to avoid disputes.
  • Workers should only accept Assignments from verified Employers.
  • Trusted-People.com does not offer financial guarantees for payments made outside of its platform.
