How to use People Search

Finding and booking workers has never been easier:

  1. Log in to your account

  2. From Account Home, click People Search

  3. Select the industry you need

  4. Use filters to narrow down candidates

  5. View profiles to check skills, ratings, and availability

  6. Select your dates and times

  7. Enter job details – description, location, what to bring/provide

  8. Confirm you’re happy with the job description and agree to the Terms & Conditions

  9. Move to billing, pay the £7.99 booking fee (£0 with unlimited membership)

  10. Click Place Order – your booking is confirmed!

Managing and Paying for Your Bookings

Once you’ve booked a worker through Trusted-People.com, everything is managed in one place for complete transparency.

  • From Account Home, you’ll see a calendar view of all your upcoming bookings.

  • Click My Jobs to access detailed job cards, showing the worker’s profile, job value, location, and a countdown until the booking starts.

  • Each booking has a Job Page, shared between you and the worker. Here you can review the job description, confirm what the worker needs to bring, see what you’re providing, and add comments or upload images for full accountability.

When the work is complete, head to Due Payments to finalise payment.

  • If the worker has linked their bank account, you can pay instantly through the platform using our secure Stripe checkout.

  • If the worker hasn’t yet linked their bank, their bank details will be displayed so you can pay them directly via bank transfer. Our support team can also guide workers to connect Stripe if you’d prefer to keep all payments on-platform.

How to Pre-Set Location and Job Descriptions

Pre-setting job sites saves you time when posting multiple jobs. Instead of typing the same information each time, you can create a template once and re-use it whenever you book workers.

Step 1 – Go to Edit Account

  • From Account Home, click Edit Account in the top menu.

Step 2 – Add a Project/Job Site

  • On the edit page, select Add Project/Job Site.

Step 3 – Complete the Form

Fill out the details for your project or site. You can include as much or as little detail as you like:

  1. Project/Job Name & Job Description

    • Give the site a clear name (e.g. “Head Office – Weekly Clean”).

    • Add a general job description that applies to all bookings at this site.

  2. Access Information

    • Add Access Notes (e.g. where to sign in, gate codes).

    • Upload a Photo of the Entrance so workers know exactly where to go.

    • Include Parking Information or nearby Public Transport Info.

    • Add your What3Words location for pinpoint accuracy.

  3. Uniform & Equipment

    • State the dress code (casual, uniform provided, PPE required).

    • Add What to Bring (e.g. ID, safety boots, cleaning kit).

    • Note if uniforms or equipment will be provided on site.

  4. Breaks & Facilities

    • Include lunch/break arrangements.

    • Say if there’s a fridge, microwave, or kettle available.

    • Explain where workers can take breaks and any rules (e.g. can they leave site?).

  5. Contacts & Team

    • Add a Contact Nominee (name, phone number, role).

    • Attach any pre-start documents or H&S guidance if needed.

    • List unique perks (e.g. “Free lunch provided” or “Discount at café on site”).

  6. Site Address

    • Enter the full address of the project/job site.

Step 4 – Save Project/Job Site

  • Click Add Project to save.

  • This job site will now appear as an option whenever you create a new booking.

How It Helps

Next time you book a worker, you can select your saved job site. The system will automatically pull in the description, access info, uniform requirements, and location – saving you time and making sure workers always have the right information before arriving.
