Trusted-People.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to fostering a respectful, professional, and inclusive community where all users—Clients (Employers) and Workers—interact fairly and professionally. These Community Standards set out the expected behaviour for all platform users and outline consequences for violations.
1. Expected Behaviour for All Users
All users of Trusted-People.com must:
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with others.
- Honour agreed-upon commitments (e.g., showing up for jobs on time, paying Workers promptly).
- Act with honesty and integrity—no false advertising, misrepresentation, or fraud.
- Respect diversity and inclusion (see our Equality & Diversity Policy).
- Follow UK laws and platform policies.
2. Communication Guidelines
To maintain a positive and productive environment, users must:
- Use professional language—no abusive, offensive, or discriminatory remarks.
- Avoid spamming or unsolicited promotions.
- Respond in a timely manner to job-related messages.
- Report any concerning behaviour rather than engaging in conflicts.
Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the platform.
3. Professionalism in Assignments
For Clients (Employers):
- Provide clear job descriptions with fair pay.
- Treat Workers with professionalism and respect.
- Ensure safe and lawful working conditions.
- Pay Workers promptly and fairly after job completion.
For Workers:
- Arrive on time and complete tasks as agreed.
- Communicate proactively about any issues.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times.
- Respect the Client’s property and workplace policies.
4. Dispute Handling & Conflict Resolution
If an issue arises, users should:
- Communicate directly to resolve the matter in a professional manner.
- Check the relevant policies (e.g., Scope Creep, Cancellation & Refunds).
- Report serious disputes to Trusted-People.com via contact@trusted-people.com.
Trusted-People.com does not mediate job-related disputes but may take action against users who violate platform rules.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- Engage in harassment, hate speech, or bullying.
- Use the platform for illegal activities.
- Exploit or take advantage of other users.
- Circumvent platform fees or payments.
- Falsify job descriptions, credentials, or experience.
6. Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of these Community Standards may result in:
- Warnings for minor infractions.
- Temporary suspension for repeated or serious breaches.
- Permanent removal from the platform for severe misconduct.
- Legal action if necessary.
7. Reporting Misconduct
If you experience or witness misconduct on Trusted-People.com:
- Report it confidentially via contact@trusted-people.com.
- Provide supporting details (e.g., messages, job descriptions).
- Trusted-People.com will investigate and take appropriate action.
All reports are handled fairly and confidentially.
